WHAT IS PERSONAL SAFETY FOR DANCE?

Personal Safety for Dance (PSD) is an international working group that exists to develop a dance environment that is free from abuse, open, and supportive for all.

Dance activity offers an opportunity to enhance physical, psychological, spiritual and social health. Anyone who dances should be able to experience these benefits free from abuse. We work to ensure dance activity is free of any form of abuse, harm, neglect, bullying or discrimination (based on all forms of inequality) for people working, training, and performing in and around dance environments. Our activities include education,  research, information sharing, advocacy, and community building and unification.
